Musnad Ahmad 907:15

'Abd al-Razzaq narrated to us, Isra'il informed us, from Simak, that he heard Jabir ibn Samurah saying: A man died during the time of the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace. A man came to him and said: "O Messenger of Allah, so-and-so has died." He said: "He has not died." Then he came to him a second time, then a third time, and informed him. So the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said to him: "How did he die?" He said: "He slaughtered himself with an arrowhead." He said: So he did not pray over him.
