Musnad Ahmad 907:174

Abdullah narrated to us, Ibrahim ibn al-Hajjaj narrated to us, Hammad ibn Salamah narrated to us, from Simak, from Ja'far ibn Abi Thawr, from Jabir ibn Samurah, his grandfather, that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ), or a man said: "O Messenger of Allah, should I perform ablution after eating the meat of sheep?" The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: "If you wish." Then he mentioned the rest of the hadith.
