'Abd al-Razzaq narrated to us, Isra'il informed us, and Yahya ibn Adam narrated to us, Isra'il narrated to us, from Simak ibn Harb, that he heard Jabir ibn Samurah saying: "The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) used to perform the prayers similar to your prayer that you perform today, but he used to lighten it. His prayer was lighter than your prayer. And he used to recite in the Fajr [prayer] 'al-Waqi'ah' and similar surahs."
