Musnad Ahmad 907:19

Muhammad ibn Ja'far narrated to us, Shu'bah narrated to us, from Simak ibn Harb, that he asked Jabir ibn Samurah: "What did the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, use to do when he prayed the morning prayer?" He said: "He used to sit in his place until the sun rose."
