Musnad Ahmad 907:194

'Abd al-Razzaq and Khalaf ibn al-Walid narrated to us, they said: Isra'il narrated to us, from Simak, that he heard Jabir ibn Samurah saying: The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) led us in the dawn prayer, and he began to move his hand. Khalaf said: He was moving [his hand] in the prayer in front of him. The people asked him when he finished, and he said: "Indeed, it was Satan who was casting sparks of fire upon me to distract me from my prayer, so I reached for him. Had I caught him, he would not have escaped from me until he was tied to one of the pillars of the mosque, for the children of the people of Medina to look at him."
