Hadith of Jabir ibn Samurah al-Suwa'i (RA)

Hadith 907:200

Hassan ibn Musa narrated to us, Zuhayr narrated to us, Simak ibn Harb narrated to us, he said: I heard Jabir ibn Samurah saying: The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) led us in the morning prayer, and he began to rebuke something in front of him. When he finished, we asked him, and he said: "That was the devil; he cast sparks of fire upon my feet to distract me from the prayer." He said: "And I rebuked him, and had I seized him, he would have been tied to one of the pillars of the mosque so that the children of the people of Medina could circle around him."
