Musnad Ahmad 907:73

'Abd al-Razzaq narrated to us, Sufyan informed us, from Simak ibn Harb, who said: I heard Jabir ibn Samurah saying: "The Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, used to sit between the two sermons on Friday, and he would deliver the sermon standing. His prayer was of moderate length, and his sermon was of moderate length, and he would recite verses from the Qur'an while on the pulpit."
