Abdullah narrated to us, Al-Hasan ibn Yahya ibn al-Rabi'—and he is Ibn Abi al-Rabi' al-Jurjani—narrated to us, Abd al-Samad ibn Abd al-Warith narrated to us, he said: Hammad narrated to us, from Simak, from Jabir ibn Samurah: "That the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) stoned Ma'iz, and he did not mention flogging."
