Hadith of Jar for Khadijah bint Khuwaylid (RA)
حديث جار لخديجة بنت خويلد
Hadith 585:1
Abu Usamah Hammad ibn Usamah narrated to us, Hisham—meaning ibn Urwah—narrated to us, from his father, who said: A neighbor of Khadijah bint Khuwaylid narrated to me that he heard the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, while he was saying to Khadijah: "O Khadijah, by Allah, I will never worship Al-Lat. By Allah, I will never worship Al-Uzza." He said: So Khadijah would say: "Leave Al-Lat, leave Al-Uzza." He said: They were their idols that they used to worship, and then they would lie down.
حدثنا أبو أسامة حماد بن أسامة، حدثنا هشام يعني ابن عروة، عن أبيه، قال: حدثني جار، لخديجة بنت خويلد أنه سمع النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم وهو يقول لخديجة: " أي خديجة، والله لا أعبد اللات ، والله لا أعبد العزى أبدا " قال: فتقول خديجة: خل اللات، خل العزى، قال: كانت صنمهم التي كانوا يعبدون ثم يضطجعون
