Hadith 223:1
'Abd al-Rahman ibn Mahdi narrated to us, from Malik ibn Anas, from Abu al-Nadr, from Zur'ah ibn 'Abd al-Rahman ibn Jarhad, from his father, from his grandfather, that the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, passed by him while he was uncovering his thigh. He said: "Do you not know that the thigh is an 'awrah (intimate part)?"
حدثنا عبد الرحمن بن مهدي، عن مالك بن أنس، عن أبي النضر، عن زرعة بن عبد الرحمن بن جرهد، عن أبيه، عن جده، أن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم مر به وهو كاشف عن فخذه، فقال: " أما علمت أن الفخذ عورة " . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .
