Hadith 223:7
Husayn ibn Muhammad narrated to us, he said: Ibn Abi al-Zinad narrated to us, from his father, from Zur'ah ibn 'Abd al-Rahman ibn Jarhad, from his grandfather Jarhad, and a group of Aslam other than him who were of good standing, that the Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) passed by Jarhad, and Jarhad’s thigh was uncovered in the mosque. The Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) said to him: "O Jarhad, cover your thigh, for the thigh is an 'awrah (intimate part)."
حدثنا حسين بن محمد، قال: حدثنا ابن أبي الزناد، عن أبيه، عن زرعة بن عبد الرحمن بن جرهد، عن جرهد جده، ونفر من أسلم سواه ذوي رضا، أن رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم مر على جرهد، وفخذ جرهد مكشوفة في المسجد، فقال له رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم: " يا جرهد، غط فخذك فإن يا جرهد، الفخذ عورة "
