And from the Hadith of Jarir ibn Abdullah (RA), from the Prophet (SAW)

ومن حديث جرير بن عبد الله، (1) عن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم

Hadith 770:17

Abu Mu'awiyah narrated to us, Al-A'mash narrated to us, from Ibrahim, from Hammam, who said: Jarir ibn Abdullah urinated, then performed ablution and wiped over his leather socks. It was said to him: "Do you do this while you have urinated?" He said: "Yes, I saw the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) urinate, then perform ablution and wipe over his leather socks." Ibrahim said: This hadith used to please him, because the conversion of Jarir to Islam was after the revelation of [Surah] Al-Ma'idah.

حدثنا أبو معاوية، حدثنا الأعمش، عن إبراهيم، عن همام قال: بال جرير بن عبد الله، ثم توضأ ومسح على خفيه، فقيل له: تفعل هذا وقد بلت؟ قال: نعم، " رأيت رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم بال ثم توضأ، ومسح على خفيه " قال إبراهيم: فكان يعجبه هذا الحديث لأن إسلام جرير كان بعد نزول المائدة
