And from the Hadith of Jarir ibn Abdullah (RA), from the Prophet (SAW)

ومن حديث جرير بن عبد الله، (1) عن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم

Hadith 770:2

'Affan narrated to us, Hammad narrated to us, 'Asim ibn Bahdalah informed us, from Abu Wa'il, from Jarir ibn 'Abdullah al-Bajali, who said: I said: "O Messenger of Allah, stipulate conditions for me." He said: "You worship Allah and do not associate anything with Him, you perform the prescribed prayer, you pay the obligatory zakat, you offer sincere advice to the Muslim, and you disassociate from the disbeliever."

حدثنا عفان، حدثنا حماد، أخبرنا عاصم بن بهدلة، عن أبي وائل، عن جرير بن عبد الله البجلي قال: قلت: يا رسول الله، اشترط علي. فقال: " تعبد الله ولا تشرك به شيئا، وتصلي الصلاة المكتوبة، وتؤدي الزكاة المفروضة، وتنصح للمسلم، وتبرأ من الكافر " . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .
