Musnad Ahmad 770:29

Abu Qatan narrated to us, Yunus narrated to me, from al-Mughirah ibn Shibl, who said: And Jarir said: When I drew near to Medina, I made my riding beast kneel, then I opened my saddlebag, then I put on my garment, then I entered. Suddenly, the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) was delivering a sermon, and the people cast their eyes upon me. I said to the person sitting next to me: "O servant of Allah, did the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) mention me?" He said: "Yes, he mentioned you just now with the best of mentions." While he was delivering the sermon, he paused in his sermon and said: "There shall enter upon you from this door, or from this mountain pass, one of the best of the people of Yemen; upon his face is the mark of an angel." Jarir said: "So I praised Allah, the Almighty and Majestic, for what He had bestowed upon me." Abu Qatan said: So I said to him: "Did you hear it from him, or did you hear it from al-Mughirah ibn Shibl?" He said: "Yes."
