And from the Hadith of Jarir ibn Abdullah (RA), from the Prophet (SAW)
ومن حديث جرير بن عبد الله، (1) عن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم
Hadith 770:34
Yahya ibn Zakariya narrated to us, Ibn Abi Khalid narrated to us, from Qays, from Jarir ibn Abdullah: "The Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, sent him to Dhu al-Khalasah, so he broke it and burned it with fire. Then he sent a man from Ahmas, who was called Bashir, to the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, to bring him the good news."
حدثنا يحيى بن زكريا، حدثنا ابن أبي خالد، عن قيس، عن جرير بن عبد الله، " أن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم بعثه إلى ذي الخلصة ، فكسرها وحرقها بالنار، ثم بعث رجلا من أحمس يقال له: بشير إلى رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم يبشره "
