And from the Hadith of Jarir ibn Abdullah (RA), from the Prophet (SAW)
ومن حديث جرير بن عبد الله، (1) عن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم
Hadith 770:35
Abu Ahmad—who is al-Zubayri—narrated to us, Sharik—who is Ibn Abdullah—narrated to us, from Abu Ishaq, from Amir, from Jarir, who said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, said: "Indeed, your brother al-Najashi has died, so seek forgiveness for him."
حدثنا أبو أحمد وهو الزبيري، حدثنا شريك وهو ابن عبد الله، عن أبي إسحاق، عن عامر، عن جرير قال: قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم: " إن أخاكم النجاشي قد مات، فاستغفروا له "
