And from the Hadith of Jarir ibn Abdullah (RA), from the Prophet (SAW)
ومن حديث جرير بن عبد الله، (1) عن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم
Hadith 770:60
Waki’ narrated to us, Sufyan narrated to us, from Habib ibn Abi Thabit, from al-Mughirah ibn Shibl, from Jarir, who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "When a slave runs away, the protection (dhimmah) is absolved from him."
حدثنا وكيع، حدثنا سفيان، عن حبيب بن أبي ثابت، عن المغيرة بن شبل، عن جرير قال: قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم: " إذا أبق العبد برئت منه الذمة "
