And from the Hadith of Jarir ibn Abdullah (RA), from the Prophet (SAW)
ومن حديث جرير بن عبد الله، (1) عن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم
Hadith 770:68
Abu Abd al-Rahman Mu’ammal narrated to us, Hammad narrated to us, ‘Asim narrated to us, from Abu Wa’il, from Jarir, who said: I said to the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him: "Stipulate [conditions] for me." He said: "Worship Allah, associating nothing with Him, perform the prescribed prayer, pay the obligatory zakat, offer sincere advice to the Muslim, and disassociate from the disbeliever."
حدثنا أبو عبد الرحمن مؤمل، حدثنا حماد، حدثنا عاصم، عن أبي وائل، عن جرير قال: قلت للنبي صلى الله عليه وسلم: اشترط علي. قال: " تعبد الله لا تشرك به شيئا، وتصلي الصلاة المكتوبة، وتؤدي الزكاة المفروضة، وتنصح للمسلم، وتبرأ من الكافر "
