And from the Hadith of Jarir ibn Abdullah (RA), from the Prophet (SAW)
ومن حديث جرير بن عبد الله، (1) عن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم
Hadith 770:70
Hashim ibn al-Qasim narrated to us, Ziyad ibn Abdullah ibn 'Ulaythah narrated to us, from 'Abd al-Karim ibn Malik al-Jazari, from Mujahid, from Jarir ibn Abdullah al-Bajali, who said: I accepted Islam after the [Surah] al-Ma'idah was revealed, and I saw the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, wiping [his feet] after I had accepted Islam.
حدثنا هاشم بن القاسم، حدثنا زياد بن عبد الله بن علاثة ، عن عبد الكريم بن مالك الجزري، عن مجاهد، عن جرير بن عبد الله البجلي قال: أنا أسلمت بعد ما أنزلت المائدة، " وأنا رأيت رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم يمسح بعدما أسلمت "
