And from the Hadith of Jarir ibn Abdullah (RA), from the Prophet (SAW)
ومن حديث جرير بن عبد الله، (1) عن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم
Hadith 770:71
Musa ibn Dawud and Muhammad ibn Abdullah ibn al-Zubayr narrated to us, they said: Sharik narrated to us, from Abu Ishaq, from Amir, from Jarir, who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Indeed, your brother al-Najashi has died, so seek forgiveness for him."
حدثنا موسى بن داود، ومحمد بن عبد الله بن الزبير قالا: حدثنا شريك، عن أبي إسحاق، عن عامر، عن جرير قال: قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم: " إن أخاكم النجاشي قد مات، فاستغفروا له "
