And from the Hadith of Jarir ibn Abdullah (RA), from the Prophet (SAW)
ومن حديث جرير بن عبد الله، (1) عن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم
Hadith 770:78
Muhammad ibn Ja'far narrated to us, Shu'bah narrated to us, he said: I heard Abu Ishaq narrating from 'Ubayd Allah ibn Jarir, from his father, that the Prophet of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, said: "There is no group of people among whom sins are committed, while they are mightier and more numerous than those who commit them, yet they do not change it, but that Allah will encompass them with a punishment."
حدثنا محمد بن جعفر، حدثنا شعبة قال: سمعت أبا إسحاق يحدث، عن عبيد الله بن جرير، عن أبيه، أن نبي الله صلى الله عليه وسلم قال: " ما من قوم يعمل فيهم بالمعاصي، هم أعز وأكثر ممن يعمله، لم يغيروه إلا عمهم الله بعقاب "
