And from the Hadith of Jarir ibn Abdullah (RA), from the Prophet (SAW)
ومن حديث جرير بن عبد الله، (1) عن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم
Hadith 770:80
Abu Sa’id, the freed slave of Banu Hashim, narrated to us, Zaidah narrated to us, Ziyad ibn ‘Alaqah narrated to us, from Jarir, who said: A scholar in Yemen said to me: "If your companion is a prophet, then he has died today." Jarir said: "So he died on Monday, may Allah bless him and grant him peace."
حدثنا أبو سعيد مولى بني هاشم، حدثنا زائدة، حدثنا زياد بن علاقة، عن جرير قال: قال لي حبر باليمن: إن كان صاحبكم نبيا فقد مات اليوم. قال جرير: " فمات يوم الاثنين صلى الله عليه وسلم "
