Musnad Ahmad 770:86

Yahya ibn Adam narrated to us, Abu al-Ahwas narrated to us, from al-A’mash, from Abu Wa’il, from Abu Nukhaylah, from Jarir ibn Abdullah, who said: I came to the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, to pledge allegiance to him. I said: "Give me your hand and set conditions upon me, for you are more knowledgeable of the conditions." He said: "I pledge allegiance to you on the condition that you do not associate anything with Allah, you establish the prayer, you pay the zakat, you offer sincere advice to every Muslim, and you dissociate from the polytheist."
