And from the Hadith of Jarir ibn Abdullah (RA), from the Prophet (SAW)
ومن حديث جرير بن عبد الله، (1) عن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم
Hadith 770:91
Husayn ibn Muhammad narrated to us, Sulayman—meaning Ibn Qarm—narrated to us, from Ziyad ibn 'Alaqah, who said: I heard Jarir say: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, said: "Whoever does not show mercy will not be shown mercy, and whoever does not forgive will not be forgiven."
حدثنا حسين بن محمد، حدثنا سليمان يعني ابن قرم، عن زياد بن علاقة قال: سمعت جريرا يقول: قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم: " من لا يرحم لا يرحم، ومن لا يغفر لا يغفر له "
