And from the Hadith of Jarir ibn Abdullah (RA), from the Prophet (SAW)
ومن حديث جرير بن عبد الله، (1) عن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم
Hadith 770:99
Waki' and Abu Mu'awiyah—who is al-Darir—narrated to us, they said: al-A'mash narrated to us, from Tamim ibn Salamah al-Sulami, from 'Abd al-Rahman ibn Hilal al-'Absi, from Jarir ibn 'Abd Allah, who said: The Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) said: "Whoever is deprived of gentleness is deprived of goodness."
حدثنا وكيع، وأبو معاوية وهو الضرير قال: حدثنا الأعمش، عن تميم بن سلمة السلمي، عن عبد الرحمن بن هلال العبسي، عن جرير بن عبد الله قال: قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم: " من يحرم الرفق يحرم الخير "
