Musnad Ahmad 243:1

Yahya ibn Sa’id narrated to us, from Hisham—meaning Ibn ‘Urwah—who said: My father informed me, from al-Ahnaf ibn Qays, from a paternal uncle of his who is called Jariyah ibn Qudamah, that a man said to him: "O Messenger of Allah, tell me a statement and make it brief for me, so that I may perhaps comprehend it." He said: "Do not become angry." He repeated it to him several times, and each time he said: "Do not become angry." Yahya said: Hisham said: "I said: 'O Messenger of Allah, and they say: He did not meet the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace.'"
