Hadith 429:17
'Affan narrated to us, Hammad ibn Salamah narrated to us, he said: 'Amr ibn Dinar narrated to us, from Nafi' ibn Jubayr ibn Mut'im, from his father, that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Allah, the Almighty and Majestic, descends every night to the lowest heaven, and He says: 'Is there any petitioner, so that I may give to him? Is there any seeker of forgiveness, so that I may forgive him?'"
حدثنا عفان، حدثنا حماد بن سلمة، قال: حدثنا عمرو بن دينار، عن نافع بن جبير بن مطعم، عن أبيه، أن رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم قال: " ينزل الله عز وجل كل ليلة إلى سماء الدنيا، فيقول: هل من سائل فأعطيه؟ هل من مستغفر فأغفر له؟ "
