Musnad Ahmad 429:29

Affan narrated to us, he said: Shu'bah narrated to us, he said: Al-Nu'man ibn Salim said: He informed me about a man, whom he named, from Jubayr ibn Mut'im—he said: I think he heard it from Jubayr ibn Mut'im—he said: I said: "O Messenger of Allah, the people claim that we have no rewards in Makkah." He said—and I think he said: "They lied. Your rewards will surely come to you, even if you were in the hole of a fox." *** Abdullah ibn Muhammad narrated to us, from Husayn. Abu Abd al-Rahman Abdullah ibn Ahmad said: And I heard it myself from Abdullah ibn Muhammad, from Abdullah ibn Idris, from Husayn, from Amr ibn Murrah, from Abbad ibn Asim, from Nafi' ibn Jubayr ibn Mut'im, from his father, who said: I heard the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, when he opened the prayer, say: "Allah is the Greatest, the Greatest (three times). Praise be to Allah, much praise. Glory be to Allah, morning and evening (three times). O Allah, I seek refuge in You from the devil, from his *hamz* (stifling/madness), his *nafth* (spitting/poetry), and his *nafkh* (blowing/pride)." Husayn said: "His *hamz* is the seizure that takes the one possessed, his *nafth* is poetry, and his *nafkh* is pride."
