Hadith 429:3
Sufyan narrated to us, from al-Zuhri, from Muhammad ibn Jubayr ibn Mut'im, from his father, from the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), who said: "If al-Mut'im ibn 'Adi were alive and spoke to me regarding these stinking ones [the captives of Badr], I would have released them for him."
حدثنا سفيان، عن الزهري، عن محمد بن جبير بن مطعم، عن أبيه، عن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم قال: " لو كان المطعم بن عدي حيا فكلمني في هؤلاء النتنى أطلقتهم " يعني أسارى بدر
