Hadith 429:31
'Affan and Muhammad ibn Ja'far narrated to us, they said: Shu'bah narrated to us, from Sa'd ibn Ibrahim, he said: I heard some of my brothers, from my father, from Jubayr ibn Mut'im: That he came to the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, regarding the ransoms of Badr - Ibn Ja'far said: regarding the ransoms of the polytheists - and he had not yet embraced Islam on that day. He said: So I entered the mosque while the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, was praying Maghrib, and he recited [Surah] At-Tur. It was as if my heart was about to crack when I heard the Quran. Ibn Ja'far said: It was as if my heart cracked when I heard the Quran.
حدثنا عفان، ومحمد بن جعفر، قالا: حدثنا شعبة، عن سعد بن إبراهيم، قال: سمعت بعض إخوتي، عن أبي، عن جبير بن مطعم: أنه أتى رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم في فدى بدر - قال ابن جعفر: في فدى المشركين - وما أسلم يومئذ، فدخلت المسجد ورسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم " يصلي المغرب، فقرأ بالطور، فكأنما صدع عن قلبي حين سمعت القرآن " قال ابن جعفر: فكأنما صدع قلبي حيث سمعت القرآن
