Hadith 429:35
Yazid ibn Harun narrated to us, he said: Ibn Abi Dhi'b informed us, from al-Zuhri, from Talha ibn 'Abd Allah ibn 'Awf, from 'Abd al-Rahman ibn al-Azhar, from Jubayr ibn Mut'im, that the Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) said: "Indeed, for the Qurashi is the equivalent of the strength of two men from other than Quraysh." It was said to al-Zuhri: "What does he mean by that?" He said: "The nobility of opinion."
حدثنا يزيد بن هارون، قال: أخبرنا ابن أبي ذئب، عن الزهري، عن طلحة بن عبد الله بن عوف، عن عبد الرحمن بن الأزهر، عن جبير بن مطعم، أن رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم قال: " إن للقرشي مثلي قوة الرجل من غير قريش " فقيل للزهري: " ما يعني بذلك؟ قال: نبل الرأي "
