Hadith 429:54
Muhammad ibn Ja’far and Bahz narrated to us, they said: Shu’bah narrated to us, from Sa’d ibn Ibrahim, he said: I heard some of my brothers narrating from my father, from Jubayr ibn Mut’im, that he came to the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, regarding the ransom of the polytheists—and Bahz said: regarding the ransom of the people of Badr—and Ibn Ja’far said: And he had not yet embraced Islam on that day. He said: So I reached him while he was praying the Maghrib prayer, and he was reciting *At-Tur* (The Mount) in it. He said: It was as if my heart had split when I heard the Qur’an. And Bahz said in his narration: It was as if my heart had split when I heard the Qur’an.
حدثنا محمد بن جعفر، وبهز، قالا: حدثنا شعبة، عن سعد بن إبراهيم، قال: سمعت بعض إخوتي، يحدث، عن أبي، عن جبير بن مطعم، أنه أتى النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم في فدى المشركين - وقال بهز: في فدى أهل بدر، وقال ابن جعفر : وما أسلم يومئذ - قال: فانتهيت إليه وهو " يصلي المغرب، وهو يقرأ فيها بالطور "، قال: فكأنما صدع قلبي حيث سمعت القرآن وقال بهز في حديثه: فكأنما صدع قلبي حين سمعت القرآن
