Hadith 429:8
Ya'la ibn 'Ubayd narrated to us, he said: Muhammad—meaning Ibn Ishaq—narrated to us, from al-Zuhri, from Muhammad ibn Jubayr ibn Mut'im, from his father, who said: The Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) stood at al-Khayf in Mina and said: "May Allah brighten a man who heard my statement, memorized it, and then conveyed it to one who did not hear it. For perhaps a bearer of jurisprudence has no jurisprudence, and perhaps a bearer of jurisprudence conveys it to one who is more learned in jurisprudence than him." "There are three things regarding which the heart of a believer does not harbor malice: sincerity in action, offering counsel to the leader, and adhering to the community, for their supplication encompasses those behind them."
حدثنا يعلى بن عبيد، قال: حدثنا محمد يعني ابن إسحاق، عن الزهري، عن محمد بن جبير بن مطعم، عن أبيه، قال: قام رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم بالخيف من منى، فقال: " نضر الله امرأ سمع مقالتي، فوعاها، ثم أداها إلى من لم يسمعها، فرب حامل فقه لا فقه له، ورب حامل فقه إلى من هو أفقه منه " " ثلاث لا يغل عليهم قلب المؤمن: إخلاص العمل، والنصيحة لولي الأمر، ولزوم الجماعة، فإن دعوتهم تكون من ورائه "
