Hadith 681:1
Muhammad ibn Ja‘far narrated to us, Shu‘bah informed us, from al-Aswad ibn Qays, that he heard Jundub al-Bajali say: A woman said to the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace: "I do not see your companion except that he has delayed [coming] to you." He said: Then this verse was revealed: "Your Lord has not taken leave of you, nor has He detested [you]." [Ad-Duha: 3]
حدثنا محمد بن جعفر، أخبرنا شعبة، عن الأسود بن قيس، أنه سمع جندبا البجلي قال: قالت امرأة لرسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم: ما أرى صاحبك إلا قد أبطأ عليك ؟ قال: فنزلت هذه الآية: " {ما ودعك ربك وما قلى } [الضحى: 3] "
