Hadith 681:10
Waki’ narrated to us, Sufyan and ‘Abd al-Rahman narrated to us, from Sufyan, from al-Aswad ibn Qays al-‘Abdi, who said: I heard Jundub ibn Sufyan al-‘Alaqi—a tribe from Bajilah—saying: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said—and ‘Abd al-Rahman said: We went out with the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) on the day of al-Adha to some people who had slaughtered or sacrificed, and some people who had not slaughtered or sacrificed. He said: "Whoever slaughtered or sacrificed before our prayer, let him repeat it, and whoever has not slaughtered or sacrificed, let him slaughter or sacrifice in the name of Allah."
حدثنا وكيع، حدثنا سفيان، وعبد الرحمن، عن سفيان، عن الأسود بن قيس العبدي، قال: سمعت جندب بن سفيان العلقي، حي من بجيلة يقول: قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم:، وقال عبد الرحمن،: خرجنا مع رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم يوم الأضحى على قوم، قد ذبحوا، أو نحروا، وقوم لم يذبحوا، أو لم ينحروا، فقال: " من ذبح أو نحر قبل صلاتنا فليعد، ومن لم يذبح أو ينحر، فليذبح أو ينحر باسم الله "
