Hadith 681:15
'Abd al-Rahman narrated to us, Za'idah narrated to us, from 'Abd al-Malik ibn 'Umayr, that he heard Jundub say: I heard the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, say: "I am your forerunner at the Hawd (the Cistern)." Sufyan said: "The forerunner is the one who goes ahead."
