Hadith 681:21
'Abd al-Rahman ibn Mahdi narrated to us, Salam ibn Abi Muti' narrated to us, from Abu 'Imran al-Jawni, from Jundub, who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Recite the Quran as long as your hearts are in agreement over it; but if you differ regarding it, then stand up [and leave]." He [the narrator] said: Meaning 'Abd al-Rahman, and Hammad ibn Zayd did not attribute it to the Prophet (marfu').
حدثنا عبد الرحمن بن مهدي، حدثنا سلام بن أبي مطيع، عن أبي عمران الجوني، عن جندب قال: قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم: " اقرءوا القرآن ما ائتلفت عليه قلوبكم، فإذا اختلفتم فقوموا "، . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . قال: يعني عبد الرحمن، ولم يرفعه حماد بن زيد
