Musnad Ahmad 175:18

Uthman ibn Umar narrated to us, he said: Yunus narrated to us, from al-Zuhri, from Abd al-Rahman ibn Ka'b ibn Malik, that Ka'b ibn Malik said: "The least that the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, would go out when he intended a journey, was on a Thursday."
