Hadith 625:20
Husayn ibn Muhammad narrated to us, Sulayman—meaning Ibn Qarm—narrated to us, from Abd al-Rahman ibn al-Asbahani, from Abdullah ibn Mu'qal al-Muzani, who said: I heard Ka'b ibn Ujrah saying in this mosque—meaning the Mosque of Kufa—: "Regarding this, this verse was revealed: We went out with the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, having entered into the state of Ihram for Umrah. Then lice fell upon my head, my beard, my eyebrows, and my mustache. That reached the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, so he sent for me and called me. When he saw me, he said: 'A trial has afflicted you, and we did not perceive it. Call the barber for me.' When he came to him, he commanded him, and he shaved me. He said: 'Are you able to perform a sacrifice?' I said: 'No.' He said: 'Then fast for three days, or feed six poor persons, for every poor person half a sa' of dates.'"
حدثنا حسين بن محمد، حدثنا سليمان يعني ابن قرم، عن عبد الرحمن بن الأصبهاني، عن عبد الله بن معقل المزني، قال: سمعت كعب بن عجرة يقول: في هذا المسجد، يعني مسجد الكوفة، في نزلت هذه الآية، خرجنا مع رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم، مهلين بعمرة، فوقع القمل في رأسي، ولحيتي، وحاجبي، وشاربي، فبلغ ذلك النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم، فأرسل إلي، فدعاني، فلما رآني قال: " لقد أصابك بلاء، ونحن لا نشعر ادعوا لي الحجام " فلما جاءه أمره، فحلقني، قال: " أتقدر على نسك؟ " قلت: لا، قال: " فصم ثلاثة أيام، أو أطعم ستة مساكين، لكل مسكين نصف صاع من تمر "
