Hadith 625:25
Sufyan narrated to us, from Ibn Abi Najih, from Mujahid, from Ibn Abi Layla, that the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, commanded Ka’b, when he shaved his head, to slaughter a sheep, or to fast for three days, or to feed a *faraq* [a measure] to six poor people.
حدثنا سفيان، عن ابن أبي نجيح، عن مجاهد، عن ابن أبي ليلى، أن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم، " أمر كعبا حين حلق رأسه، أن يذبح شاة، أو يصوم ثلاثة أيام، أو يطعم فرقا بين ستة مساكين "
