Hadith 1285:0
Narrated to us by Yahya ibn Sa’id, from Sufyan, who said: Narrated to me Habib ibn Abi Thabit, from ‘Amr ibn Maymun, from Sulaym ibn ‘Amir, from Kabishah bint Ka’b ibn Malik, that Abu Qatadah entered upon her and she poured water for him to perform ablution. A cat came to drink from it, so he tilted the vessel for it until it drank. Kabishah said: He saw me looking at him, so he said: "Are you surprised, O daughter of my brother?" I said: "Yes." He said: The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: "It is not impure; it is only among those who roam around among you."
