Hadith of Khabbab ibn al-Aratt (RA) from the Prophet (SAW)
حديث خباب بن الأرت (1) عن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم
Hadith 908:28
Yahya ibn Sa'id narrated to us, from Isma'il, Qays narrated to us, he said: I came to Khabbab to visit him, and he had been cauterized seven times on his stomach. And I heard him saying: "Had the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) not forbidden us from praying for death, I would have prayed for it."
حدثنا يحيى بن سعيد، عن إسماعيل، حدثنا قيس، قال: أتيت خبابا، أعوده، وقد اكتوى سبعا في بطنه، وسمعته يقول: " لولا أن رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم نهانا أن ندعو بالموت " لدعوت به
