Hadith 452:1
Ali ibn Bahr narrated to us, he said: Muhammad ibn Humayr al-Homsi narrated to us, he said: Thabit ibn ‘Ajlan narrated to us, he said: I heard Abu Kathir al-Muharibi saying: I heard Kharashah saying: I heard the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, saying: "There will be a tribulation after me; the one who is asleep in it is better than the one who is awake, and the one who is sitting in it is better than the one who is standing, and the one who is standing in it is better than the one who is moving about. So whoever encounters it, let him walk with his sword to a rock and strike it against it until it breaks, then let him lie down for it until it clears up, whatever it may clear up to."
حدثنا علي بن بحر، قال: حدثنا محمد بن حمير الحمصي، قال: حدثنا ثابت بن عجلان، قال: سمعت أبا كثير المحاربي، يقول: سمعت خرشة، يقول: سمعت رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم يقول: " ستكون من بعدي فتنة، النائم فيها خير من اليقظان، والقاعد فيها خير من القائم، والقائم فيها خير من الساعي، فمن أتت عليه فليمش بسيفه إلى صفاة فليضربه بها حتى ينكسر، ثم ليضطجع لها حتى تنجلي عما انجلت "
