Musnad Ahmad 944:26

'Affan narrated to us, Shu'bah narrated to us, Hakam and Hammad informed me, they heard Ibrahim, from Abu 'Abdullah al-Jadali, from Khuzaymah ibn Thabit, from the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him: "That he granted a concession of three days and their nights for the traveler, and a day and a night for the resident."
