Hadith 310:5
'Abd al-Razzaq narrated to us, he said: Ibn Jurayj informed us, he said: Isma'il ibn Kathir Abu Hashim al-Makki narrated to me, from 'Asim ibn Laqit ibn Sabirah, from his father or his grandfather, the delegate of al-Muntafiq, who said: I set out with a companion of mine until we reached the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, but we did not find him. 'Aishah fed us dates, and she cooked *'asidah* (a porridge) for us. Then the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, came, walking with a firm gait, and said: "Have you been fed anything?" We said: "Yes, O Messenger of Allah." While we were like that, the shepherd of the sheep returned to the enclosure with a young lamb in his hand. He (the Prophet) said: "Has she given birth?" He said: "Yes." He said: "Then slaughter a sheep for us." Then he turned to us and said: "Do not think—and he did not say 'do not think'—that we slaughtered the sheep for your sake. We have one hundred sheep, and we do not wish for them to increase beyond that; so whenever the shepherd brings a lamb, we order him to slaughter a sheep." He said: "O Messenger of Allah, inform me about ablution." He said: "When you perform ablution, perform it thoroughly and interlace the fingers, and when you inhale water into the nose, do so thoroughly, unless you are fasting." He said: "O Messenger of Allah, I have a wife," and he mentioned her sharp tongue and her foul language. He said: "Divorce her." He said: "O Messenger of Allah, she is a companion and has children." He said: "Then keep her and advise her; if there is any good in her, she will do it. And do not strike your wife as you strike your slave girl."
حدثنا عبد الرزاق، قال: أخبرنا ابن جريج قال: حدثني إسماعيل بن كثير أبو هاشم المكي، عن عاصم بن لقيط بن صبرة، عن أبيه أو، جده وافد بن المنتفق، قال: انطلقت أنا وصاحب لي حتى انتهينا إلى رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم فلم نجده، فأطعمتنا عائشة تمرا، وعصدت لنا عصيدة، إذ جاء النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم يتقلع فقال: " هل أطعمتم من شيء؟ "، قلنا: نعم يا رسول الله، فبينا نحن كذلك ربع راعي الغنم في المراح على يده سخلة، قال: " هل ولدت؟ "، قال: نعم، قال: " فاذبح لنا شاة "، ثم أقبل علينا فقال: " لا تحسبن ولم يقل لا تحسبن إنا ذبحنا الشاة من أجلكما، لنا غنم مائة لا نريد أن تزيد عليها فإذا ولد الراعي بهمة أمرناه بذبح شاة " فقال: يا رسول الله، أخبرني عن الوضوء، قال: " إذا توضأت فأسبغ وخلل الأصابع، وإذا استنثرت فأبلغ إلا أن تكون صائما " قال: يا رسول الله، إن لي امرأة فذكر من طول لسانها وبذائها ، فقال: " طلقها "، قال: يا رسول الله، إنها ذات صحبة وولد، قال: " فأمسكها وأمرها، فإن يك فيها خير فستفعل، ولا تضرب ظعينتك ضربك أمتك " . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .
