Musnad Ahmad 1065:11

Yahya ibn Adam narrated to us, Abd al-Rahman ibn Sulayman ibn al-Ghasil narrated to us, from Asim ibn Umar ibn Qatadah, from Mahmud ibn Labid, who said: The sun eclipsed on the day Ibrahim, the son of the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him), died. So they said: "The sun has eclipsed due to the death of Ibrahim." The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: "Indeed, the sun and the moon are two signs from the signs of Allah. Behold, they do not eclipse for the death of anyone nor for his life. So when you see them like that, then hasten to the mosques." Then he stood and recited—as we perceive—some of {Alif-Lam-Ra} [Surah Ibrahim: 1]. Then he bowed, then he stood upright, then he prostrated two prostrations. Then he stood and did the same as he had done in the first [rak'ah].
