Hadith 683:7
'Abd al-Rahman narrated to us, from Sufyan, from Mansur, from Rib'i ibn Hirash, from some of the companions of the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, who said: The Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said: "Do not precede the month until you complete the count, or see the crescent. And fast, and do not break the fast until you complete the count, or see the crescent."
حدثنا عبد الرحمن، عن سفيان، عن منصور، عن ربعي بن حراش، عن بعض أصحاب رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم قال: قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم: " لا تقدموا الشهر حتى تكملوا العدة، أو تروا الهلال، وصوموا ولا تفطروا حتى تكملوا العدة، أو تروا الهلال "
