Hadith 1021:7
Hassan narrated to us, Zuhair narrated to us, from Abu al-Zubayr, from ‘Amr ibn Shu‘ayb, from his father, from some of the companions of the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, who said: The Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, cauterized Sa‘d or As‘ad ibn Zurarah in his throat for tonsillitis (al-dhabhah). And he said: "I will not leave any reservation in my soul regarding Sa‘d or As‘ad ibn Zurarah."
حدثنا حسن، حدثنا زهير، عن أبي الزبير، عن عمرو بن شعيب، عن أبيه، عن بعض أصحاب النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم قال: كوى رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم سعدا أو أسعد بن زرارة في حلقه من الذبحة وقال: " لا أدع في نفسي حرجا من سعد، أو أسعد بن زرارة "
