Hadith 1037:1
'Abd al-Rahman ibn Mahdi narrated to us, from Malik, from Sumayy, from Abu Bakr ibn 'Abd al-Rahman, from one of the companions of the Prophet (may Allah bless him and grant him peace): "That the Prophet (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) was seen at al-'Arj pouring water over his head while he was fasting, due to the heat or due to thirst."
حدثنا عبد الرحمن بن مهدي، عن مالك، عن سمي، عن أبي بكر بن عبد الرحمن، عن بعض أصحاب النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم، " أن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم رئي بالعرج وهو يصب على رأسه ماء وهو صائم من الحر أو من العطش "
