Hadith 1054:2
Isma'il narrated to us, from al-Jurayri, from Abu Sakhr al-'Uqayli, a man from the Bedouins narrated to me, he said: I brought merchandise to Medina during the lifetime of the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him. When I finished my selling, I said: "I will certainly meet this man and hear from him." He said: So he met me walking between Abu Bakr and 'Umar. I followed behind them until they came upon a man from the Jews who had spread out the Torah, reading it, consoling himself with it over a son of his who was dying, who was among the best and most handsome of youths. The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, said: "I adjure you by the One who revealed the Torah, do you find in your book this description of mine and my emergence?" He shook his head like this, meaning: No. Then his son said: "Yes, by the One who revealed the Torah, we indeed find in our book your description and your emergence, and I bear witness that there is no god but Allah and that you are the Messenger of Allah." He said: "Remove the Jews from your brother." Then he took charge of his shroud, his burial, and the prayer over him.
حدثنا إسماعيل، عن الجريري، عن أبي صخر العقيلي، حدثني رجل من الأعراب، قال: جلبت جلوبة إلى المدينة في حياة رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم، فلما فرغت من بيعتي قلت: لألقين هذا الرجل فلأسمعن منه، قال: فتلقاني بين أبي بكر، وعمر يمشون، فتبعتهم في أقفائهم حتى أتوا على رجل من اليهود ناشرا التوراة يقرؤها، يعزي بها نفسه على ابن له في الموت، كأحسن الفتيان وأجمله، فقال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم: " أنشدك بالذي أنزل التوراة، هل تجد في كتابك ذا صفتي ومخرجي؟ "، فقال برأسه هكذا، أي: لا، فقال ابنه: إي والذي أنزل التوراة إنا لنجد في كتابنا صفتك ومخرجك، وأشهد أن لا إله إلا الله وأنك رسول الله، فقال: " أقيموا اليهود عن أخيكم "، ثم ولي كفنه وجننه والصلاة عليه
